Security Training

Complying with the Private Security Regulation Authority's (PSRA) exacting standards, Ranger’s Recruitment and Training program has developed training procedures to ensure that all of our Security Officers are deployed onto a site with the necessary training. The training takes place at our head office in Kingston and Regional offices located in Mandeville, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.

Our training centre supports the operational areas to ensure that their training needs are fully met.  Within the program there are Training officers and Senior Operations personnel who carry out basic classroom training, and the ongoing and specialist training sessions.

All potential Security Officers attend a comprehensive classroom-training upon recruitment and attend refreshers courses at least annually. Each new recruit is taught the Ranger Code of Conduct and Practice for Security Officers.
